How to Clean Your Learning Space

Stay Healthy Friends!

Before you dive into eSucceed’s tips as to how to clean your learning space, we hope that everyone is staying healthy during this time of social distancing.  At eSucceed we are here to support you in any way we can.

Although the Safer at Home order has not impacted classes at eSucceed, we do recognize other challenges that may have occurred.  The  environments students were used to working in may have changed with additional family members working from home. We encourage the students to find a place where they can still focus and complete their work.  We also understand that access may be slower due to more individuals online and we need to be patient as all systems try to adjust to an increase in traffic. If you are a current student, please let us know if your child needs support in any way.

In the meantime, learn how to best keep your learning space clean!

How to Clean Your Learning Space

Wash hands very often with soap and warm water and dry thoroughly with paper towels or a clean hand towel. (Wash towel daily)

When to wash your hands? Think: Before and After. Before and after you eat, after you use the bathroom, touch door handles, touch your face, use a gaming controller, laptop, mouse, smartphone and many more…

What is the best way to wash hands? Wash hands often with soap and warm water long enough to sing your “ABC’s” twice.

What if I don’t have a sink nearby? If you don’t have a sink nearby, use hand sanitizer, and make sure you cover all areas of your hands and rub in until dry.

Avoid touching your face! If you do…wash your hands! (See above)

How to Clean Your Equipment

For your laptop screen, do not use alcohol or ammonia based cleaner on your screen as it will damage it. Disinfecting wipes are okay and make sure your laptop is dry before closing it.

If you are using a spray, DO NOT spray the product directly on the laptop. Instead, thoroughly spray a cloth or paper towel with a cleaning solution and wipe or set on the keyboard. The area needs to be wet for 3-5 minutes to be effective and use a one-way wipe technique to reduce germs from spreading around.
