eSucceed is a public school, we charge no tuition for WI residents.
Since eSucceed is a public charter school, our admissions requirements are the same as those of any public school. In order to provide a highly personalized learning experience, eSucceed limits the number of students accepted per grade, each year. Open enrollment begins in early February and closes at the end of April. If the number of applicants exceeds the enrollment cap, students will be selected using a lottery process.
We follow the same guidelines as public schools.

The open enrollment program is administered by the State of Wisconsin. There are statutory procedures and timelines the school district is required to follow in order to accept students into eSucceed Virtual School. The application period for the upcoming school year starts the first Monday in February and ends at 4:00 pm on the last weekday in April. However, there are a number of exceptions to this open enrollment period policy. If you have missed the deadline and feel your situation may qualify please contact Mrs. Amy Russ (aruss@esucceed.org) immediately.
For any student who complete the regular or alternative open enrollment prior to the first day of school, the start date is September 3, 2024. After the first day, students may begin as soon as they receive notice of admission and complete the enrollment form.
After you have completed the open enrollment process and have been approved, you will attend classes beginning in September.
High school students enrolled in a public Wisconsin high school may take up to two classes per semester via part-time open enrollment.

Students receive frequent reports on their progress. As progress is assessed through mastery of learning targets, students will receive credits based upon successful mastery of content in each course.
Because our curriculum is personalized, each student learns at a level that’s appropriately challenging. For example, a 9th-grade student could complete 12th-grade-level projects. We assess all students when they begin classes so we may create individualized learning plans.
Parents and guardians are part of the equation at eSucceed. We all need to work together to help students succeed. We include parents and guardians in students’ orientations and help them familiarize themselves with our platform and our expectations. We provide regular updates and a guide parents and guardians may follow to ensure their children are mastering their courses. We also offer virtual conferences.
Parents have access to their own parent portal, where they can see how their child is progressing.
The amount of time devoted to schoolwork depends on the grade level of the student, difficulty of coursework, and other factors. As a general rule, full-time students should expect the following time commitment for school days:
High School: 5-6 hours per day
Middle School: 4-5 hours per day
Elementary School: 2-3 hours per day
Students are graded based on their mastery of the subject material.
Project-based-learning (PBL) is a methodology that encourages students to identify real world problems and develop solutions for them. We believe this approach allows students opportunities for in-context experiential learning and for developing critical skills that prepare them for life beyond high school.
